We are a fee-for-service clinic and do not accept insurance directly. Payment is due at the time of service. As a courtesy, we can provide a “superbill” upon request, which you can submit to your insurance company via our partnership with Reimbursify. Please note that creating a superbill requires some information from you beforehand. If you are interested, let us know before your first appointment, and we’ll guide you through the process.
Mobile therapy brings specialized care directly to your home, making it easier and more convenient for families. For children with pelvic floor or continence challenges, familiar surroundings can reduce stress and help them feel more comfortable during sessions. Mobile therapy also allows us to observe your child in their natural environment, tailoring strategies that work in daily routines like bathroom habits, play, and bedtime. Ultimately, it’s about making therapy accessible, effective, and less disruptive to your family’s schedule.
For children, there are no internal exams (vaginal or rectal). We only conduct visual inspections of the perineum to check for things like skin irritation, redness from soiled clothing, pelvic floor muscle activity, and normal sensation and reflexes with light touch. A parent or authorized caregiver is required to be present for the entire session to ensure your child feels safe, supported, and comfortable throughout their therapy. Once an evaluation is booked, you will receive a social story to review with your child (if age-appropriate) that prepares them for the evaluation.
Pediatric pelvic floor therapy focuses on helping children build strength, awareness, and control of their pelvic muscles in a fun and engaging way. Sessions may include play-based exercises, core strengthening activities, breathing techniques, and body awareness games tailored to your child’s age and needs. We also provide practical strategies and guidance for parents to support healthy bladder, bowel, and core habits at home. Each session is individualized, aiming to make therapy effective, comfortable, and enjoyable for your child.
